WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

"In 2009 we employed Margie Miller, Geriactric Nursing, to assist in caring for my Mother, who had COPD and wanted to stay in her home, as opposed to a facility, nursing home. Mother had 2 Long Term Care policies. Margie took care of coordinating Mother's Insurance along with supplying in- home Caregiver's; private and thru an Agency. Due to Margie my Mother went to Pulmonary Doctor which probably prolonged her life with Oxgyen and medication. During the seven years Margie was assisting caring for my Mother who passed away in 2016, Mother was never hospitalized. Mother was able to live in her home and be cared for, Mother's wish. Margie Miller,RN, is compassionate and knowledgeable in Nursing and assisted in acquiring the best In-Home care possible for my Mother. And I'm appreciative of the Geriactric services Margie provided."

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

"I have worked with Margie Miller several times in my career as a Trust Officer at a local financial institution. In both cases my clients did not have in town family or family able to deal with their care. In both cases the individuals wanted to stay in their homes rather than move to assisted living living or nursing homes. They were able to stay in their homes for their remaining lives.

Margie worked closely with one client in stabilizing a very precarious medical situation.  This person had some deterioration of their mental facilities, had not had adequate medical care and had some serious medical issues, and could not safely stay in their home without supervision and assistance.  Margie brought in medical professionals and caregivers and was the point of contact for her personal and medical care.  She was invaluable in helping her have a better quality of life until she passed away.

In another case Margie was able to get a full evaluation of the person’s medical conditions and helped to identify some that the doctor was not aware of.  This person was adamant about staying in their own home. She made regular visits to check the persons status, went to all doctors visits to make sure all care instructions were carried out correctly. When it became apparent that more help was needed Margie hired and coordinated caregivers in the home, made sure the proper medical equipment was obtained, and again made regular visits to make sure the situation was stable. She was a great resource for family members to help them understand what was going on with their loved one until their passing.

Margie made my job easier because I did not need to worry about my clients personal safety and well being and I always knew she was available to me or to family members for questions or concerns we might have about their loved one."
